Stonehill Partners advise Valor Real Estate Partners on a rare Prime Distribution Warehouse Investment in Barking

We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the DHL warehouse on Thames Road, Barking where we acted on behalf of Valor Real Estate Partners. The acquisition was completed off-market, in a very swift timetable and represents our first transaction working with the team at Valor which we thoroughly enjoyed!

“Covering around 115,000 sq ft, the asset has 18 docks and level access doors and sits on approximately six acres of land.

Valor has now acquired more than £200m of logistics assets in Greater London since Q4 2016, including a 110,000 sq ft site in Mitcham earlier this year. Valor said this is all part of a broader European strategy that has seen Valor buy more than €500m (£431m) of in-fill logistics assets across the UK, France and Germany.

Cane Napolitano, principal at Valor, said: “We are incredibly pleased to have acquired a significant site catering to an extremely supply constrained submarket.”
